Chamois Heatwave

It is double hot, and this morning I’ve had conversations about Donkeys, post knockers and Manège fencing, overly friendly cows, pistachio puds, a dying Ash and what to wear when stuff to do.

So let’s keep this double quick.

This Double RL plaid workshirt looks like mid-winter, sat buttoned up by the fire, but is indispensable right now.

Printed plaid cotton chamois from Spring Summer 2024, it’s the closest thing I’ve found to a heatwave proof ‘flannel’, over a white tee, with fatigues and shorts around house and in garden, or as someone who lives in the middle of nowhere, worn with jeans out and working.

Made from seemingly chameleon cloth, the colour flips, the pattern melds, all dancing in the light, a bit western, bit mid-west working on your truck, bit south west England checking your crops or actually a bit old west Wales textile.
