Connolly Striped Sweater

Today you should have been reading about something else, but Storm Brendan and his travelling trampolines and whipped up rain put paid to that.

Funny that this bout of ‘extreme’ weather has come slap bang in the middle of January, a month where we ought to be vegan and dry.

Instead, this time of year, suggests that we should aim more for full fat hunkering down, whilst taking our time, warming up to the year and planning future glories.

To light fires, eat hearty protein and carbs and wear clothes which cuddle.

Which is why, you’ll find me in this striped Shetland jumper from Connolly.

A magical mix of Shetland and Cashmere and the January jumper.

The warmth of Shetland, the softness of cashmere but, thankfully not too much of either.

Helping lift the post Christmas blues, it keeps me alert and keen, protecting when worn out and comforting at home sheltered from the storm.

A classic, improved to the ruination of all pretenders and yet more proof that there isn’t a perfect example of what Connolly does so well, because it all just does it.
